Tim Holtz Configuration Box

I got the Tim Holtz Configuration Box (no 4) from my August kit with The Flying Unicorn. I thought it looked a lot of fun so the first thing I did was to divide it into two to make the fun last longer. :)

I finished the first configuration box in September, using the Bo Bunny Gabrielle collection. It can be found here.

I started on the second one shortly after the other, but never finished it for a number of reasons. However, I got really inspired by a friend yesterday and actually finished it in one evening...

I painted the entire box with white acryllic paint. I have used the papers from the Studio of Memories collection by Pion Design to get the shabby feeling. All papers have been distressed with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

I think the metal feet by Tim Holtz are absolutely fantastic. They are so detailed and really heavy. They were an absolute must for this project.

The vial is from Tim Holtz as well. I filled it up with small ivory, pink and blue roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The big cream rose next to the vial is from Prima, rose buds from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The big creamy rose is from The Flying Unicorn, the rest of the roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The vintage resin is from Melissa Frances, blue roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Another vial, this time filled up with a piece of Pion paper and microbeads from Martha Stewart (white gold). The beads are truely micro small. They are an excellent excuse to clean your entire house when you are done. No matter how careful you are they end up everywhere.

The lace is one of my all time favourites from the Magnolia store in BorĂ¥s.

Pearls from Michaels's wedding department, the vintage image is from the Studio of Memories collection as well.

Fence from Dusty Attic. I painted it with white acryllic paint and used a christmas stamp by Tim Holtz on it (Holly Branch). I stamped it with Distress Ink Walnut Stain and thought it looked kind of nice on the white fence.

The other Dusty Attic piece has been painted with Distress Crackle Paint Tattered Rose. Then I added Stickles Cotton Candy and Glimmer Mist Old Lace. Last but not least I stamped it with the same Holly Branch stamp.

The pink lace is from the Magnolia store.
